We are a non-governmental, non-religious, non-political and not for profit making organization.
We shall endeavor to fullfill it's vision, mission and objectives in the best interest of the indegenous people, grassroots community and women living adjacent to National parks and national forests in Tanzania Mainland.
OBJECTIVES
WECI way to reach their vision/mission
We are highly committed to conserve biodiversity and living conditions of indegenous people, youth and women through inclusive social services delivery, appropriate village technologies, eco-friendeli IGAs, promoting their participation in community-based actions and have access to self-employment to become self-sufficency.
Basic values of WECI rests on its Mission which respect the values of Human Rights, biodiversity balance/earth restoration and gender equality. The organization also realizes that there will be no healthy economy on an unhealthy planet on which we live; respect and value relies much on biodiversity.
WECI has twelve core values that are clear and unambiguous. All stakeholders are like-minded partners and should be aware of our values and at all thimes use those as gidelines to be clear about what is important for the benefits of globe.
Our CORE VALUES Include
The organization's mandate will be guided by Carbon Trading Regulations 2022 and UNESCO's World Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) program which is closely linked to Millennium Development Goal (MDG) 2 (That focusses on primary education), MDG 7 (concerning environmental sustainability) and MDG 8 (for global development partnership), but relates and clearly contributes to the achievement of each of the other MDGs.
ESD is relevant to all environmental, cultural, economic and socio-political contexts and provides a concrete tool for addressing global sustainable challenges through education, taking into account ecosystems challenges and nature.
WECI emphasizes the teaching of the holistic nature of the environment through interdisciplinary and problem-solving approaches. This has to start as early in education as possible.
Our Approach
We appreciate the initiative taken by Weci
It's important that someone put their effort to care, not only by talking but actually also to make things happen
